Information Pack (HIPS) before they can do so. At present homeowners are able to market
their property as long as the Home Information Pack (HIPS) has been applied
and paid for. As of June 1st 2008 Homeowners will not be able to market their
property until the Home Information Pack is complete.
This pack will
consist of your basic conveyancing requirements and an Energy Efficiency
Report. Homeowners will have to pay approximately £350.00 for this pack
(HIP) regardless of whether their property sells or not.
